Burn, third degree
A burn in which the damage has progressed to the point of skin death. The skin is white and without sensation.
Paraplegia
Complete paralysis of the lower half of the body including both legs, usually caused by damage to the spinal cord.
Loss of Consortium
When a person is injured, that person's spouse may also have a valid claim for Loss of Consortium. Years of potential life lost (YPLL) is a measure of premature mortality. YPLL is presented for persons under 75 years of age because the average life expectancy in the United States is over 75 years.

Injury to the ligaments, tendons and fibers of the body that connect the skeletal bones.
Workers Compensation
These benefits include payment of all medical expenses and reimbursement for a portion of wages lost due to disability caused by the injury.
Bodily Injury
A cut, abrasion, bruise, burn, or disfigurement; physical pain, illness, impairment of the function of a bodily member, organ, or mental faculty; or any other injury to the body, no matter how temporary.
